																	Z wave door sensor reddit.

Outdoor z wave motion sensors are as elusive as z wave canopy fan controllers.
I think the aeotec multi sensor claims to be ip66 rated but reviews on outside use seem to be pretty bad.
I really want to be able to come home to my front door and either use google assistant google home or a bluetooth connection on my phone to open my door.
They regularly recognize make break events and trigger accordingly.

																	I know zero about it.
Now when i open my front door all of the z wave outlets turn on and when i close the door they all turn off.
																	Also interested in this.
There don t seem to be any options when you d think it would be a no brainer.

I m using the older version.
																	I am a z wave noob.
I have a bunch of the monoprice z wave recessed door sensors and a few of their z wave controlled outlets all running hassio on a pi 3 and an aotec z wave stick.
99 sure these monoprice no name sensors are the same linear made sensors sold under gocontrol and another name.

You might need to use another z wave device as a repeater z wave is a mesh network after all if the distance is pretty far away.
I also purchased the gocontrol pack of two door window sensors plus motion sensor for 40 something on amazon.
Op asked about the new z wave plus sensors not currently compatible with wink.
I tried with a 433mhz door sensor but i felt the connection was just a bit too unreliable at range so instead i ordered a z wave me razberry card since it said it had a 200m range and a telldus magnetic switch sensor.
